Who We Are

WHO WE ARE

Since 2015, Reaching Beyond Limits, Inc. has provided exceptional services to individuals with Intellectual Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and many other mental health disorders to the Northeast Pennsylvania communities. It all started with recognizing that far too few quality programs accessible to those with complex needs.

At that time, Amy Hartman, a graduate student at Temple University, and Robyn Ruckle, a classroom special education teacher, both had one fundamental goal in mind: to give those individuals a safe, happy place to go to thrive. Reaching Beyond Limits, Inc. was born out of a desire to provide individuals with intellectual disabilities and ASD a comfortable, engaging, and safe place to spend their time.

With over three decades of shared experience in the mental health field, both owners of Reaching Beyond Limits, Inc. offer a broad range of services, skills, knowledge, interest, and community involvement to everyone served by Reaching Beyond Limits, Inc staff included.

Active Engagement. Every Day.

We ensure that our individuals have a variety of entertainment, cognitive stimulation, and physical exercise by keeping them active in our community every weekday. We enjoy going to parks, malls, restaurants, the movies, bowling, and other community activit. Additionally, we have numerous activities at our facility, including life skills training, cooking lessons, arts and crafts, lunchtime, and more.

Giving Back to the Community

Not only do our clients engage with the community, but they also bring positive energy by giving back through volunteer work! We organize volunteer outings for organizations including food banks, Toys for Tots, Meals on Wheels, and Volunteers of America.
