ROBYN RUCKLE
Robyn Ruckle
Robyn obtained her degree in Special Education and Rehabilitation from East Stroudsburg University and her teaching certification. She has worked in the field for 12 years in recreation programs, behavioral services, and teaching experiences. Her most recent role was teaching transition-age students with autism and intellectual disabilities for four years.
As a special education teacher of transition-age students, Robyn witnessed first-hand the struggle parents face when young adults need to find a post-secondary placement.
Robyn’s experiences include developing and implementing IEPs, progress monitoring, classroom management, providing differentiated instruction, facilitating community-based instruction crisis management, and implementing behavior plans.
Robyn is determined to provide a quality, post-secondary placement option that emphasizes continuing education, retaining skills, and obtaining new skills in a fun and nurturing environment.
