Amy Hartman

Amy received her undergraduate degree in Psychology with a minor in Business Management from Misericordia University. She graduated with her master’s degree in social work from Temple University and, upon graduation, received The Kristin Federici Bowser Award for Service. Amy is also certified in Adult Mental Health Interventions and applied Behavioral Analysis and is a Licensed Social Worker in the State of Pennsylvania.

Amy has worked in the mental health and social service fields since 2009. She has worked for Community Counseling Services as Therapeutic Staff Support and at Cornerstone Counseling as a mental health therapist. She has also completed a year-long internship as a forensic social worker at Ruth’s Place Women’s Shelter and the Public Defender’s Office.

Amy’s experience and skills include individual, family, and group therapy in a private practice setting, one-on-one behavioral health interventions with children and adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorder. Additionally, Amy has experience in grant research, proposal writing, program planning, development/fundraising, and community outreach.

Amy emphasizes continued growth and learning opportunities, as well as happiness and quality of life. Her background, values, and beliefs inspired and motivated her to co-found Reaching Beyond Limits.
